DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT FUNKY SHOP IN EWELL VILLAGE?…

There is a hidden gem within Ewell Village, No. 7 West street to be exact and it’s by far one of my favourite go to places for finding exquisite and eclectic pieces of vintage home decor or fashion.
That Funky Shop really is an original and quirky addition to Ewell Village. Sadie McAnelly owner of the shop really works hard behind the scenes travelling up and down the country, sourcing fantastic pieces of vintage ranging from the 1960s through to present day.
Her varied amount of stock demonstrates she sources with her regular customers as well as new ones in mind when she buys stock to fill the Aladdins cave of one off finds.
However, it is not only vintage that the lovely Sadie stocks. Within That Funky Shop as well as preloved clothing and homewares lies a plethora of crystals, locally crafted products and an amazing collection of vinyl, there really is something for everyone.
“When stocking my shop, I always have in mind that I’m filling the shop with items for all age groups with emphasise on the vibrant, colourful and wonderful. I want my customers to feel like they are having a mini adventure when visiting the shop!”
It really does feel like a mini adventure when each and everytime you visit That Funky Shop.
Sadie has a constant turnover of stock and there is always something of interest each time you pop in.
There is also a focus on sustainability, Sadie says; “By buying good quality preloved items we are all reducing our contribution to landfill. One of my main objectives of opening the shop is that I hope to make a difference to how our community shops. Encouraging us to Re-use and Recycle.”
Visit That Funky Shop today, it really is a treasure trove in the heart of Ewell Village:
