CLUBBING FOR THE OVER 55’S…

Many of you may not be aware of the Community & Wellbeing Centre located in Longmead.
This unique facility offers a warm and friendly welcome to anybody over 55 who is looking to socialise, try out new skills or simply to pop in for a coffee and a slice of homemade cake.
The centre which is open Monday to Friday from 9am-4pm offers a range of classes and services designed to promote wellbeing.
Tutor led Classes include:
– Tai Chi
– Yoga
– Line Dancing and even Belly Dancing!
As well as exercise classes the centre offers a range of recreational activities such as:
– Bingo,
– Table quizzes
– Card making and art classes
There may be a fee for some classes and activities with discounts given to members.
The centre also has a lovely coffee shop, which has been awarded 5 stars for hygiene with homemade offerings prepared on site which are to die for!
Clients can enjoy anything from a light snack to a hot meal accompanied with a glass of wine if they wish!
(lunches are served daily between 12-1pm)

“The coffee shop is a great place for clients to catch up with friends over lunch or to sit quietly and enjoy a magazine or paper over a coffee”
Additionally this amazing facility offers a range of bookable services including:
– Hairdressing salon
– Footcare clinic
– Assisted bathing
– Laundry service
Annual membership is £12.50 per year for over 55s within Epsom & Ewell Borough or £24.20 per year for over 55s residing outside the borough.
The centre welcomes all from the surrounding boroughs.
