CITIZEN ADVICE EPSOM & EWELL – A VALUABLE RESOURCE ON OUR DOORSTEP
Posted by Kat Heath on 05 Dec 2019

Citizens advice is a valuable resource which not many people necessarily know the extent of how helpful they can be.
MY STORY
In 2015 an extension that I had built the year before was severely leaking due to poor workmanship.
I had a one year old crawling around a soaking wet floor and didn’t know how to resolve the issue.
After having a phone consultation with citizens advice, I was booked in with an assigned caseworker who helped me at each stage of the consumer dispute. They advised me on the court process and how to collate evidence without having to pay out for a solicitor which they actually advised against instructing. Eventually we won the case and I fully believe it was due to the support we received from Citizens Advice.
It’s a valuable source which is there for everyone in the community.
