BRING YOUR BABY FILM CLUB…

Posted by Devenia Besant on 12 Apr 2023

Going to the cinema and enjoying a film is one of life’s pleasures that parents of small babies can often miss out on, with that in mind, the concept of Baby Cinema Clubs have recently become a popular phenomenon over the last few years.  Many cinemas across London and surrounding areas are now offering specific screenings for new parents such as Everyman and the Electric Cinemas to name a few, giving respite to parents and carers that can find it hard to find time to watch films especially with a baby in tow.

Locally, this concept has now arrived at The Horton Arts Centre in Epsom where they have recently launched Bring Your Baby Film Club, giving parents and carers of babies under 12 months old a chance to relax, unwind and enjoy a film in a baby friendly atmosphere.

There is plenty of room for prams so if your baby is anything like my 9 year old was, you can keep them moving if needed or bring a baby mat for them to lay on while you sit back and enjoy!
There is even an interval half way through so you can change your baby if needed or grab a much needed coffee from the cafe bar onsite.

This is a great way for parents and carers of babies to have some much needed rest and escapism in a baby friendly environment!

The next film showing is the classic ‘The Devil Wears Prada’
Starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway
Date: 9th May
Time: 10am
Price: £6.50

You can find more information about The Horton and booking info here.

Please note this event is for parents and carers of babies under 12 months, no toddlers.
