AFTERNOON TEA EXPERIENCES FOR ALL BUDGETS…

Posted by Kat Heath on 04 May 2024

Afternoon Tea is a customary ritual which we have enjoyed in the UK for years.  Afternoon tea was introduced by Anna, The 7th Duchess of Bedford in 1840.  The pause between lunch and the evening meal became a fashionable social event within high society, traditionally served in the drawing room between 4-5pm.  In recent times it has become a popular treat to be enjoyed by all!  I have devised a list of places both locally and in nearby central London to enjoy afternoon tea whatever your budget!
