ABBA comes to Epsom…

Maybe it’s because Eurovision is around the corner (Saturday, May 13th) or just because we’re up for having the time of our lives, but Epsom is having an ABBA moment.

Here are four events where you can unleash your inner dancing queen 👯‍♂️

Picnic in the Park – Ewell Court Park

Ewell Court Residents Association is putting on a picnic and party in Ewell Court Park on Monday, 8th May (12 pm to5 pm) where along with other entertainment there’ll be an ABBA tribute band.

Lakehurst Road Ewell Surrey KT19 0EB

Bring your friends, chairs and dancing shoes. It’s all FREE!

1st Ewell Court Scout Group will be providing refreshments including their famous hot dogs and tea & coffees. The Explorers will be offering Krispy Kreme donuts!   There will be a drinks tent and an ice cream van.  Facepainting is also on offer from the Girlguiding Epsom division.

Epsom Social ABBA Bottomless Bubbles Dinner 

On Saturday, May 13th (starting at 5pm), head down to the Epsom Social for an all out ABBA hits Bottomless Bubbles evening.

Epsom Square, Epsom, Surrey KT19 8AG

There’ll be nothing but ABBA and 80s classics spun by specialist DJ Percy ahead of the screening of the Eurovision Final.

What’s included in the £30 ticket price:

  • Bottomless Prosecco for 1.5hours
  • x1 main meal food voucher, value of £15
  • 2 hours of non stop ABBA classics & hits
  • Eurovision final

Mamma Mia! Sing-along – St Mary’s Church

Join in the fun at the Mamma Mia! Sing-along at St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, 10th June.

Parish Church, London Rd, Ewell, EPSOM, Surrey, KT17 2AY

Doors open at 6:30pm for 7:00pm. Adult ticket price: £10 (with a glass of fizz – additional fizz available).  Children: £5. Dress to impress like it’s 1970!

Mamma Mia! ABBA Outdoor Cinema Experience at Polesden Lacey 

* Since this post was published, we’ve found another ABBA event, which isn’t in Epsom, but not too far away…

On Saturday, July 22nd, head to Polesden Lacey for an amazing outdoor cinema experience in the stunning grounds with a showing of Mamma Mia!

There’ll be music from the 70s & 80s to enjoy before the film with a soundtrack of disco and party classics.
Gates open at 8pm with the film starting shortly after sunset  (approximately 9.30pm).
