A BRAND NEW EASTER & SPRING TRAIL BLOOMS IN EPSOM…

Posted by Francesca De Franco on 28 Feb 2026

Looking for a magical Easter adventure close to home? This spring, Mayfield Lavender’s Secret Garden in Epsom is blooming into life with a brand-new immersive trail, Bluebell in Lavenderland, and it sounds like a lovely one for families.

From Saturday, 21st March until Monday, 4th May (Early May Bank Holiday), children can join Bluebell, the bunny with the golden ears, on a quest to find the missing golden eggs hidden by Twizzle the Fairy.

🌸 Bluebell in Lavenderland

Set within Mayfield’s Secret Lavender Garden, right next to the Glasshouse Café and Gift Shop, this charming trail features 17 special locations to explore.

Armed with a trail map, young adventurers will meet a host of delightful characters along the way, including Bramble the Hedgehog, Pip & Nutty the squirrels, Willow the Owl, flamingos, parrots and even Mayfield’s very own Old English Sheepdog, Joey.

Each act of kindness reveals a letter, and as the story unfolds, Bluebell’s ears and fluffy tail shimmer with golden magic. Children who complete the trail will receive a mini chocolate bunny as a sweet reward.

📸 Beautiful Backdrops & Spring Wishes

The trail begins at Mayfield’s iconic red telephone box before weaving through Lavender Straits, Provence and Tuscany. Along the way, families can stop at The Lookout, Sleepy Hollow, The Pavilion and The Wedding Aisle, where children can write spring wishes on ribbons to tie to the little ‘chapel.’

The route finishes at a heart-shaped bench, perfect for those all-important family photos.

🎁 Optional Activity Packs

For families wanting to add even more to the experience, activity packs (£6.95) are available to purchase online or in the shop.
