With the arrival of the school summer holidays now officially here for all, there maybe some that are facing  the 6 weeks with varying levels of trepidation.  I know with having 2 primary school aged boys just how important it is to be armed with a list of ideas of things to do to keep them busy and for me to keep my sanity!!!!

With all this in mind, I have put together a selection of ‘days out with kids’ ideas for you (and me!).  The best bit is that these ideas are local with some a little further afield.

Farms are always popular with kids of all ages.

They can enjoy the animals and learn about the produce grown, and there is always, without exception, awesome play equipment at these places to entertain the younger ones.

Below is a list of local farms which make a great day out:
Hobbledown, Epsom
Godstone Farm, Godstone
Mayfield Lavender Farm, Banstead
Bocketts Farm Park, Leatherhead
Chobham Adventure Farm, Cobham
Tulleys Farm, Crawley

Surrey and nearby West Kent are home to beautiful landscapes and immaculately kept places of interest.  These stunning places usually have good facilities too including, washroom facilities and cafes. They are great spots to pack a picnic and escape with the kids for an afternoon or a day!
