45+ MOTHERS DAY GIFT IDEAS TO SHARE WITH YOUR HUSBAND, PARTNER OR KIDS…

Posted by Devenia Besant on 28 Feb 2024

I recently came across a blog we published a few years ago titled “What Mums Really Want for Mother’s Day” this blog was put together with quotes from local mums, a few that stood out and made me giggle were:

“My friends and I spoke about this over coffee and we said we’d like to be booked into a hotel, ALONE, to sleep. Haha!”
– Kalli

“I’d really like the toilet flushed please! “
– Emily

“To not spend it with the mother in law”
– Anonymous (for good reason!!!!)

Anyway upon discovering this blog I decided to put together a guide of gifts / treats ideas, places to go for Mother’s Day (not necessarily on the day), some low cost, some a bit more extravagant, some from personal experience, some I’d like for myself (ha ha!) and some from some of the the small businesses on the Epsom and Ewell Families directory….something you can subtly share with your husbands, partners and children!

45 (maybe more maybe less!!!) gifts ideas in no particular order apart from low cost / practical first, are:

A card or gift handmade by the kids
A lie in
Breakfast in bed
A WHOLE day alone
The house cleaned (properly!!!!)
Dinner cooked (with everything cleaned and tidied away after)
A family walk at one of our many local parks / green spaces
