4 COSY PLACES FOR A SUNDAY ROAST…

We have now reached the season to get warm, comfortable and snug. But if you’re not into hibernating and you’re looking for a home-away-from-home for your next Sunday lunch, then here are four spots to visit locally, that we partner with.

Some of them have fantastic local walks nearby too. Who doesn’t love a Sunday stroll before or after their lunch?

The Cock Inn, Headley

Nestled in the countryside, The Cock Inn is a great pub to visit after a walk before or after your lunch.

When visiting, you can choose from a Sunday roast (vegan options available) or from their light bites, small plates or seasonal menus. And while you’re eating your lunch, children can visit The Kids’ Table – every Sunday from 12–4 pm.

Sunday Roast is served Sunday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Spaghetti Tree, Walton on the Hill

You can order a Sunday roast or from their full à la Carte menu every Sunday. Individual portions are available, or you can order for two or four people.

Roast options include lamb, chicken, porchetta, beef or a nutroast. And are served with a Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, pigs in blankets, stuffing balls and gravy.

They also have live music performances on Sundays.

Tattenham Corner Pub, Epsom Downs

After a walk around the Epsom Downs, you could warm up at the Tattenham Corner Pub. Visit them for a delicious beef or vegan wellington, chicken, pork belly or a nut roast. All served with baked carrots, crushed celeriac, roast potatoes and greens.

Children can also have a roast dinner, or they can cater for little people’s tastes with pasta, fish and chips, sausage and mash or a cheeseburger. They proudly support British farmers, ensuring that food is fresh and sustainably produced.

Food is served between 12 pm – 9:30 pm.

Mayfield Lavender Glasshouse, Epsom

Mayfield Lavender has launched an incredible festive menu – including a whole roast dinner in a Yorkshire pudding and other seasonal favourites like cod and prawn fishcakes, a veggie wellington or turkey ciabatta. After your meal, they have some pudding options, or you could look for a last-minute pressie in their beautiful gift shop.

Food is served from 10 am – 4 pm on Sundays.
